My background
I shoot on a Hasselblad 500C my father bought in 1979, and I still develop the black and white rolls myself in the back room. Sittings are slow on purpose: twelve frames per roll means we talk more than we shoot, and the pictures are better for it. Most people who come to me are marking something, a new job, a last year at home, a face they want to remember properly.
